The 5200 Series of SATA SSDs are the follow-on to the 5100 line of SSDs. The two series share the same controller, firmware, interface and features. The key difference is that the 5200 Series uses a new 64-layer 3D NAND storage medium. The new NAND technology results in similar or improved performance, and improved endurance.
Rigorous testing of the 5200 Series SSDs by Lenovo through the ServerProven program assures a high degree of storage subsystem compatibility and reliability. Providing additional peace of mind, these drives are covered under Lenovo warranty.
